Static Security Officer Training
Duration: 4 days
Since the introduction of the SIA Licensing law 2003, a Level 2 National Certificate in Security Guarding is required in order to work in the Security Industry. Our team, which consists of highly qualified trainers, will help you to gain the necessary understanding in the field and guide you through the licensing process.
Static Security Officer Training- lasts for 26 hours over the course of four days, with two of these hours entailing examinations which you must pass if you wish to become a Security Officer. These examinations are designed to ascertain if you have understood and absorbed the theory which has been covered on the course, and which will be essential for anyone wishing to make a living as a security professional.
The Static Security Officer course is divided into three units:
- Working in the Private Security Industry
- Working as a Security Officer
- Conflict Management for the Private Security Industry
This is followed by a final examination of each section, which will qualify you to apply for an SIA License in Security Guarding. If you have already attained the qualification and want to apply for the license check the SIA website.
